Emirates Tours, Promotional Brochure

“…then we heard it, drifting in mournful echoes across the sun-red rocks; the mellow, earthy drone of a didgeridoo…”

A new world full of new dreams, Australia is a truly extraordinary land. This incredibly beautiful country will entrance you with its rich kaleidoscope of stunning landscapes, vibrant colours, amazing sights and unforgettable experiences.

Rich in myth and legend, Australia is the only country on earth to occupy an entire continent. Here you can marvel at ancient drawings in prehistoric rock depicting the birth of man, wonder at the unique wildlife and stand in awe of the sheer scale and drama of some of the world’s most distinctive landmarks. People say you could spend a lifetime exploring Australia and still not do it justice. And they’re right.

Saab 9-5 Wagon, Launch Brochure

It’s an attitude. A belief that moments in life can be both exhilarating and relaxing. Both free and controlled. The Saab 9-5 Wagon lets you seize and enjoy life’s moments in your own unique way.

Perhaps it’s the sporty turbocharged performance. Perhaps it’s the versatility. Probably it’s both that will help you recognise the Saab 9-5 Wagon as the ideal car for your lifestyle. Even when loading the car, we’ve put a lot of thought into it so you don’t have to. It’s all about ease of use, functionality and safety. We call it practical intuition. You’ll call it inspired.

The Private Travel Company, Launch Brochure 2007, Dubai section – Burj Al Arab hotel

When a hotel becomes the icon for an entire city, you know it has to be more than a little special. The Burj Al Arab is not just another of the world’s most luxurious hotels, but more another world in itself.

Partly it’s the confidence with which it proclaims its unbridled luxury, grandeur and sophistication. Or the almost arrogant yet stunning design, with surely the most distinctive helipad on Earth. But we think you’ll recognise the Burj for what it truly is – just a fantastic place to stay. This is somewhere you come to live the dream and experience the very best things in life.

Only a 20 minute drive from Dubai Airport and rising above the shimmering sea like a billowing sail, everything about the Burj is exceptional. You’ll be treated to round-the-clock butler service, with private receptions on every floor. The finest materials and furnishings have been used from around the world to create an opulent yet traditional ambience, where each fabulous suite successfully combines lavish interiors with state-of-the-art technology. Gaze from your floor-to-ceiling windows as the sun sets across the Arabian Gulf. Or take the spiral staircase to your palatial bedroom to relax in your private Jacuzzi. Pamper yourself some more at the Assawan Spa and Health Club.

We highly recommend dining on the delicious European specialities in Al Muntaha, seemingly suspended in mid air above the sea. Or try Al Mahara, the extraordinary underwater seafood restaurant reached via a simulated submarine voyage. And if that sounds incredible, it’s only because this is the reality of Burj Al Arab.

Greenpeace, Direct Mail

Imagine watching as beautiful, ancient parkland is systematically destroyed. Seeing trees just bulldozed away, wildlife depleted and landscapes forever ruined.

We wouldn’t stand for it, would we? Yet this is exactly the kind of thing that is happening to many of the national parks that are our seas. Destructive activities like over-fishing and bottom trawling are literally emptying the seas of their amazingly rich and varied wildlife and their habitats. If this continues, many species of fish, exotic sea horses, dolphins, porpoises, puffins and gulls will be at serious risk of disappearing. We simply cannot allow this to happen.

The solution is to establish and protect specified areas of the sea as marine reserves. But time is not on our side and we urgently need governments to act now. This is where we need your help.
